Though twice the size of the vitrine, this Lalique
window is still very much smaller than the big windows of Bergdorf Goodman. Located at the Central
Park side entrance (which is technically the main entrance), this window gets a lot of traffic.
Red background and three red pedestals (for the
Christmas theme) were used. No other embellishments were needed. Lalique products were beautiful on
their own right. The lesson here is - sometimes, less is more. Props can sometimes take away from the
product. Laliques can stand alone due to its beauty. Using props would just clutter the presentation.
