Saks Fifth Avenue is a landmark in New York. Everytime I go to the Big Apple,
I always visit it to browse, to shop, and of course to look at their store windows.
For Christmas 1999, they went for a "traditional" Christmas look, with a twist -
they made it look "cartoony." With backgrounds "drawn" from the cartoon world, these windows remind me of
"Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" where Jessica Rabbit said her famous line, "I ain't that bad. I'm just drawn
this way." I'll call this series, "A Tribute to Toon Town" because like most kids, I grew up watching
Saturday morning cartoons.
