Shopping In London

DALLAS, Jan 14, 2001/ FW/ --- If New York has Madison Avenue and Paris has rue Fauborg-St. Honore, London has Old Bond Street and New Bond Street, together with Sloane Street, as home to high-end designers boutiques.

Running from Oxford Street south to join Picadilly (not far from Picadilly Circus), Bond Street is home to jewellery shops, designer clothes and shoes.

Sotheby's and Christy's auction houses are also located here, plus some very exclusive antique shops.

And as a treat, most stores have a doorman who is there to open doors for you, smile at you and wish you a nice day.
