Store Window Store Window LONDON, Jun 4, 2005/ FW/ --- The French fashion houses are represented in Bond Street by no other than two of the most venerable brands – Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.

Going graphical for its fall windows, Chanel used “road signs” shapes to announce its name and its famous “double C” logo. Using risers to create height to display accessories, it was simple yet very powerful presentation.

For clothes, Chanel as always used its signature headless mannequin with the double C logo on the neck.

Yves Saint Laurent went for a more elaborate presentation. Perhaps its because they were showing Tom Ford’s last collection for the brand. Fall 2004 was the last set created by the American designer for the house.

Continuing the Far East theme on the runway, a Chinese folding screen was used as background.

Two types of mannequins were used – the headless transparent mannequins and the abstract wood mannequin.
