Dice Kayer SS14 (12)For spring/summer 2014, Dice Kayek explores constructivism through a study in black and white, Ece Ege’s preferred colors.

Variations on house themes include structured silhouettes newly revisited in dual materials and a bold venture into city-smart shorts, prints and color.

Known above all for the quality of its craftsmanship, Dice Kayek illuminates clothes with artisanal embroidery in crystal and stones set on matte noble fabrics. Key materials this season include satin-weave silk, double-faced silk satin, mikado silk and leather effect lace.

For spring, the brand is focusing on the improbable alchemy of materials, blending futuristic fabrics with classic lace, satin or mikado. Noble and technical fabrics in the same color come together on a black dress in short satin-weave silk and neoprene, or a black sleeveless evening dress with a hand-embroidered crystal bodice over a black satin-weave skirt.

Statements are simple but strong, with architectural shapes, as in a double silk satin coat with subtly rounded shoulders or sophisticated peplums.
