Empire State BuildingNEW YORK, Aug 10, 2007 / FW/ — Do you feel lucky? On Friday, Sept. 7, 22-year-old fashion designer, stylist and entrepreneur INDASHIO will team up with Commerce Bank and the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant the wishes of two young ladies who have always wanted to stroll down the catwalk.

Their dreams will come true during New York Fashion Week’s debut of the INDASHIO Spring 2008 collection in a Las Vegas-themed show at Commerce Bank’s New York headquarters at 42nd Street and Madison Avenue.  The show will also feature La Neige Purses and Castaway neckpieces.

The two young models are receiving their wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Seventeen-year-old Ali, who is diagnosed with Wilms’ tumor, and 16-year-old Marissa, who is diagnosed with aplastic anemia, will meet the designer, attend pre-show fittings and model castings, take a turn on the catwalk and enjoy INDASHIO’s Spring 2008 fashion presentation in true VIP style.

“I am trilled to be partnering with Commerce Bank again this season as my presenting sponsor. Their continued support for my line and my humanitarian efforts means the world to me,” INDASHIO said.

“We are really looking forward to bringing exactly what Commerce and I are all about – the “WOW” factor. Not only are we celebrating the fashion industry, but we are teaming up again to make dreams come true through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.”

“Indashio has such a big heart,” said Brent Goodrich, Make-A-Wish Foundation of America spokesman. “He goes above and beyond to create a wish experience that is truly phenomenal and is sure to inspire these extraordinary young women.”

“Thanks to our affiliation with INDASHIO, Commerce is not only America’s most convenient bank, but also America’s most fashionable bank,” said Greg Braca, Commerce Bank New York City President. “More importantly, our partnership provides the resources that enable Make-A-Wish to offer hope and strength to ill children and their families.”

A staunch commitment to active involvement in the local community is a vital element of the Commerce philosophy. Commerce Bank’s overall Corporate Giving Program has contributed more than $56 million to nonprofit organizations, helping improve the quality of life of the people living in the communities served by the bank.
