NEW YORK, May 28, 2012/ — With the return of “Suits” on June 14, 2012 on USA Network, the TV audience will once again be treated with seeing Mike Ross (played by Patrick Adams) biking around Manhattan wearing a suit and his ubiquitous cross body messenger bag.

In another successful series, the medical comedy-drama, “Royal Pains” Mark Feuerstein, who plays concierge doctor Hank Lawson, can be seen going all over the Hamptons with his medical bag.

And of course, at “Bing Bang Theory”, Dr. Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons) strictly adheres to his routine of carrying his laptop bag when he goes to work.

So, what’s with the “murse” (man & purse combined)? In a society wherein a man carrying a bag is deemed effeminate, popular culture is full of men carrying a murse! In short, the “bag carrying man being less masculine than your average Joe” is a myth!

Because if you look around, you will see that high street designers and popular labels offer men’s accessories year round. From the American Eagle’s Newsboy bag to Hugo Boss Havana Canvas Messenger Bag, there is a bag out there to fit a man’s style.

There is Kenneth Cole’s Parent Flap Briefcase for the financial district wizards and Just4Leather laptop bags for those who need to be connected at all times. Speaking of leather laptop bag click here to find one that is perfect for you.
