Thomas Berdych for HM (1)NEW YORK, Jan 10, 2014/ — H&M Sport has developed a new tennis collection to coincide with the Australian Open. The capsule is inspired by the separates to be worn on-court by H&M’s Sport ambassador, Czech professional tennis player, Tomas Berdych. The collection was created with input from Tomas, with functionality and performance at the heart of the designs.

The capsule includes retro, seaside inspired color-blocked and striped shirts that combine piqué with a mesh back section for optimum ventilation. Tennis shorts from the assortment are made of light, quick-dry fabric, with specially developed, mesh-lined pockets for easier storage of tennis balls. The shorts are breathable and light enough for fast moves on the court.

The collection will be available in H&M stores worldwide, as well as online, from the beginning of January.
