LOS ANGELES, Jul 29, 2011/ — Actress and Television Personality La La Anthony has certainly seen her share of fashion as host of numerous MTV and VH1 shows, but who knew she had the fashion design bug herself?

ShoeDazzle recently tapped Anthony to become the latest member of its popular ShoeDazzle “Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity,” and the results are a slam-dunk.

Anthony designed a unique, high-heeled, faux-snakeskin bootie with black elastic detail, which she aptly named “Ooh La La.” 100% of profits from the sale of the shoe will benefit one of her favorite charities, Community’s Child, a non-profit organization committed to providing homeless mothers with safe, structured, yet compassionate living environments (http://www.communityschild.org/ ). The bootie will be available on August 12th, exclusively in ShoeDazzle showrooms.

“I’ve always been a shoe-lover and am so excited to have the opportunity to work with ShoeDazzle and design ‘Ooh La La,’” Anthony said. “Community’s Child is a great organization, and I love that ShoeDazzle members can support a worthy cause while looking fabulous this fall.”

Prior to La La’s shoe release, ShoeDazzle partnered with Jenny McCarthy, Carmen Electra, singer Mel B and actresses Kristin Cavallari, Kristen Bell and Kristin Chenoweth for their “Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity.”

The company launched its first cause-marketing campaign in fall 2009, offering a pink pump benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Additionally, ShoeDazzle designed a special red pump and clutch to support WomenHeart and raise awareness for American Heart Month.
