NEW YORK, Sep 10, 2012/ — Saturday, at the Highland Stage, Rebecca Taylor sent out sun faded tropical prints, ikat-polka dots and sunset inspired pinky nudes on the runway.

Inspired by summers past, there is a touch of innocence that we always associate with summers of long ago. And to emphasize that innocent feel, Rebecca Taylor chose a soft neutral palette that was highlighted by punches of sherbet hues.

Diaphanous chiffons, luxurious silks and textured soft leathers take the form of modern yet playful silhouettes, setting the mood for a relaxed refinement.
