Robert GellerNEW YORK, Feb 24, 2015/ — On February 14, 2015 Robert Geller presented his Autumn/Winter 2015 collection at Pier 59 Studios.

This season Geller found inspiration in the Nadi Brothers, the two then well known Olympic fencers from the 1920s, Aldo and Nedo Nadi, and more specifically he was interested in their style and in the garb the siblings were wearing “apres match”.

As such, the Fall 2015 is a collection that gives a nod to the past while still being modern: Tailored suiting and a somewhat dusty colorpalette emanate an old school elegance that is interspersed by more sporty and casual elements, and evoking a mildly aggressive feel.

Within the collection we find round oversized coats in ecru and black that resembles the large coats fencers would layer over their uniforms. Parkas with oversized collars based on a classic bomber jacket, give the collection a sense of comfortable sportiness.

Robert Geller continued his ongoing collaboration with footwear label Common Projects, featuring a strapped Derby shoe and a Chelsea boot.

For the second season in a row Geller partnered with Casio G-Shock. The G-Shock MT-G timepieces were integrated in the presentation where several models wore either the black or silver models in the show.

The gold headpieces worn by the models are a collaboration that Robert Geller designed with 1-100, a jewelry label designed by Graham Tabor and Miguel Villalobos.

Special guests in attendance were Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Jerry Lorenzo.
