Selena Gomez has been in the spotlight for years, and through it all she’s had her ups and downs. But what she has taught many of us is that we can always bounce back and come back on top. Now, Gomez is finishing 2018 in a powerful way as she launches her “Strong Girl” collection for Puma.
The collection features clothing and accessories that are perfect for the gym or to pull off an athleisure look. Strong Girl includes shoes, caps, backpacks, leggings and tops with a sexy yet comfortable aesthetic.
The campaign photos and video for the collection feature close friends of the singer and Instagram star, “All my friends are a part of the shoot and all have different body types and it’s just beautiful to see them wear things that make them feel good. I don’t know what I would be without my friends. They’ve saved my life, they’ve been there for me through the thick and thin of it all.”
Gomez also gives a personal statement about being strong, saying, “Strong girl is something I try to be every single day and it’s so hard. It’s so hard for me. I feel best when my mind is right and my body is right. It is not weak to be vulnerable or share what’s on your heart. A real strength is vulnerability, honesty and compassion.”
