LONDON, Mar 29, 2012/ — As jubilee fever fills the air, the May issue of Harper’s Bazaar is dedicated to celebrating all that is great about Britain’s idiosyncratic cultural royalty – from the people’s princesses to the aristocrats of cool.

QUEEN VICTORIA ON CONQUERING THE FASHION WORLD

The new British Queen of fashion, Victoria Beckham, makes her second Harper’s Bazaar cover appearance for its May issue – on sale 2nd April.

The designer poses in a series of intimate portraits across 10 pages of Bazaar. Shot by photographer Camilla Akrans, the images show a soft, feminine side to the designer, harking back to a bygone era.

Victoria goes on to chat candidly about her family, discussing her hopes that her children will use their fame for good, the prospect of having more babies and shares what it’s like growing old with husband David Beckham.

KING OF COMEDY DAVID WALLIAMS

The King of British comedy, David Walliams, pays homage to photographer Herb Ritts’ photographic celebration of sexual ambiguity, featuring KD Lang and Cindy Crawford, in an exclusive photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar.
