NEW YORK, Nov 30, 2010 / — Just when the holiday shopping season begins, the return of another shopping extravaganza is announced.
Fashion’s Night Out, the wildly successfully shopping event held during the Spring/Summer womenswear fashion season returns on Thursday, September 8, 2011 in celebration of New York City’s $55 billion fashion and retail industries.
Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), and NYC & Company—the city’s marketing, tourism, and partnership organization— announced FNO’s new dates today.
Following the success of the expanded 2010 effort—which included the city’s largest public fashion show and the participation of stores in more than 100 cities across the nation and in 16 countries around the globe—next year’s event will once again expose shoppers to new stores and products through events and promotions featuring some of the fashion and retail industries’ top designers and leaders.
