NEW YORK, Feb 25, 2015/ — Debuting on the New York catwalk this season, Los Angeles-based label iiJin might as well be the sleeper brand this season as designers Cassian Lau and Christina Minasian presented a very wearable and highly covetable collection that caters to a young audience.
Pronounced as e-gene, iiJin is the Korean word for “precious” which actually describes the Fall/Winter 2015 collection.
Sending leather bomber jackets and plaid varsity jackets for both men and women, they are already guaranteed to catch the attention of college-bound kids next fall. Sweatshirts, pea coats and hooded jackets complete the ensemble for outerwear.
Interestingly, though the look is very casual and definitely sportive, iiJin also sent metallic pants and dresses for evening. College is known for non-stop parties after all!
iiJin might be a new name on the calendar but it definitely caught the attention of editors and bloggers this season.
