Miguel Villalobos and Graham Tabor, designers for avant-garde jewelry line 1-100 have been commissioned to design fine jewelry for the iconic Belgian fashion house of Ann Demeulemeester beginning the Fall/Winter 2014 collection.
Tabor and Villalobos’ designs will be featured in the Demeulemeester runway shows and be distributed worldwide with the Demeulemeester fashion collections.
Based in New York, the multi-disciplinary artists Miguel Villalobos and Graham Tabor have being creating hand-crafted, limited edition jewelry in their New York studio under the name 1-100 since 2009.
Working primarily in sterling silver and other pure materials, 1-100 harnesses a rugged elementalism, fused with iconic shapes and contemporary codes.
Tabor and Villalobos have shown both together and individually at Maison Martin Margiela, Brachfeld
Gallery, SCOPE Art Fair, Art Basel, Ter et Bantine Space, The NOHO Design District and group exhibitions in Berlin, Santiago de Compostela, Zurich, Vienna and Trieste amongst others.
1-100 sells internationally at exclusive retailers and their single commission, one of a kind jewelry is shown under the name Tabor – Villalobos through international design gallery Cristina Grajales Gallery, NY.
