Utilitarian romance abounds in a mineral palette of sage, cognac, burgundy, tangerine, optic white, denim, and sand. Karl Lagerfeld delivered an urban jungle filled with exotic details. The FENDI fashion show’s backstage literally lit-up with our favorite FℲ girls, Gigi and Bella, Kaia, Kendall, Adwoa and so on. FENDI SS19 collection is here and we’re ready!
Bringing together the pragmatic and the exotic, Fendi gave us undeniably chic upgrades to the utilitarian workingwoman’s wardrobe for its Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Models emerged from underneath a large Fendi emblem, walking along the white runway in pieces like transparent embroidered pumps, modernized skirt and blazer pairings, and oversized workman’s jackets in a mineral palette of colors like tangerine, sand, sage, and cognac. Some highlights included the handbags like the “Peekaboo” and “Baguette,” which were designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, and the feminized tool belts—our favorite iteration, worn by Gigi Hadid, paired with bike shorts and a cream collared shirt with large, gathered pockets.
