Paris Haute Couture Week always brings innovations and for Spring/Summer 2019, Alain Mikli and Alexandre Vauthier showed that origination in fashion still exists with the release of their second avant-garde eyewear collection.
Unveiled during Alexandre Vauthier’s couture runway show, the campaign featuring original 1990’s supermodel, Christy Turlington was also released. Captured through the lens of celebrated fashion photographer duo Inez & Vinoodh, Christy wore the Alain Mikli x Alexandre Vauthier Ketti in Havana Light Gold + Vibrant Green lenses and the Josseline in Noir Mikli + Black Satin Mirror lenses.
The collaboration includes three fierce sun styles; Ansolet, Josseline, and Ketti that debuted on the Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture runway during Paris Couture week. The fusion of Alain Mikli’s distinctive and provocative approach to design and Alexandre Vauthier’s powerful vision of sexy yet sophisticated women create a line of eyewear that is undeniably fierce.
