As one of Shawn Mendes’ many fans commented, “why does he always have to look so good?” In the new Emporio Armani advertising campaign, the 20-year old Canadian singer and songwriter showed why.

Shot in soft black and white, both the video and still images captured Mendes in intense close-ups and documented fragments of everyday life. His openness and spontaneity together with the male equivalent of the Mona Lisa smile totally explained why Shawn is the current heartthrob.

To top it all, the singer made wearing watches look sexy! On a very of-the-moment shot, Mendes was shown tapping on the Emporio Armani Connected smartwatch to access its apps.

This is the third year in a row that Shawn Mendes is fronting the Emporio Armani timepieces. Since 2017, the Canadian singer and songwriter has been the face of the Emporio Armani Connected touchscreen smartwatch line. In 2018, he also became the spokesmodel for the entire collection of Emporio Armani watches.

And great news to his fans! On 7th March 2019, Shawn Mendes: the Tour will set off around the world, with the singer promoting his third album, Shawn Mendes. Since his entry into the international music scene with his first album, Handwritten, in 2015, Mendes has received numerous accolades and was nominated for two Grammy Awards at the 2019 ceremony, for Best Pop Vocal Album and Song of the Year (for “In My Blood”).
