Beautiful, wearable and highly covetable are the three adjectives that describe the Noon by Noor Fall 2014 collection.
Unveiled on February 10, 2014 during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the collection, according to designing cousins Noor Rashid Al Khalifa and Haya Mohammed Al Khalifa was inspired by the beautiful colors and unique markings in minerals and crystals.
Looking at patterns found in the natural environment – cloud formations, crystalline structures and geometric patterns, Noor and Haya used them as basis for the voluminous coats, culottes pants and straight dresses that dominated the collection.
The silhouettes were oversized while the color palette tended to be on the bright shade of ice blue, cool mint, mauve, navy, burgundy and vanilla with pops of yellow, chartreuse and royal purple.
