NEW YORK, Jun 8, 2012/ — And just as we thought that the CFDA Fashion Awards was the party of the week, the 2012 amfAR Inspiration Gala New York was held last at The New York Public Library and it raises the ante.
The glitterati were once again on the move and spotted at the gala were actor Cheyenne Jackson and Fergie who were both wardrobed by Calvin Klein Collection.
Fergie, who was one of the evening’s honorees, wore an onyx embroidered laser cut wool/plongee dress from the Fall 2012 Calvin Klein Collection. Fergie also carried a Calvin Klein Collection black satin wristlet clutch.
Mr. Jackson, who co-hosted the gala, wore a white linen cotton two-button peak lapel tuxedo jacket, black tuxedo pants, white dress shirt, black bow tie and black leather shoes from the Spring 2012 Calvin Klein Collection.
Fergie’s look was designed by Francisco Costa, the brands’ Women’s Creative Director, and Mr. Jackson’s look was designed by Italo Zucchelli, the brands’ Men’s Creative Director, both of whom were in attendance at the event. Mr. Costa, who was honored by amfAR in Sao Paulo last April, presented Fergie with her award.
Launched in 2010, the amfAR Inspiration Series has produced events in New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Sao Paulo to celebrate fashion and style while raising funds for the Foundation’s lifesaving AIDS research programs. For more information, please visit amfar.org.
