Fendi and Gentle Monster launch GENTLE FENDI, an exclusive new sunglasses collection that combines the heritage and craftsmanship of the Roman Maison with the innovative design of the Korean eyewear brand.
The result are two unisex models with a futuristic mood: GENTLE FENDI NO.1 and GENTLE FENDI NO.2. The first silhouette, in acetate and metal, is influenced by street style trends and combines a small shape with attractive logos that embellish the tips of the frames. The Gentle Fendi No.2 model, on the other hand, is characterized by a classic round shape, refined and light construction combined with contrasting chromatic details, for an easy-to-wear design that can be easily combined. Both will be available in the boutiques of the two brands and in the best opticians’ shops in the world from the beginning of May 2019.
The presentation of the capsule is accompanied by a video shot by Russian artists collective AES+F, which combines fashion and art, past and future to create a series of dreamlike and extravagant images.
The launch of the collaboration will also be celebrated with two special events in the Gentle Monster stores in Seoul on May 7 and in Beijing on May 14, but also with immersive in-store installations in boutiques and Fendi and Gentle Monster stores around the world.
