DALLAS & PARIS, Dec 11, 2009 / FW/ — When we think of Christmas trees, we think of green, gold and red. Now, ask a fashion designer to create one and you will get an eclectic collection of trees that are endearing, mesmerizing and quite frankly, just amazing!
Last December 8th, at the Cité de l’architecture in Paris, Christmas trees created by your favorite designers – Jean Paul Gaultier, Gucci, Hermes, Jean Charles de Castelbajac, Louis Vuitton, Marithe + Francois Girbaud, Sonia Rykiel and Thierry Mugler, among others were on display for auction.
In this season of giving, fashion designers lent their talents to benefit a children’s charity being supported by France’s First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.
With the trees being auctioned beginning at 3,000 euros; it will bring a lot of cheer to children especially during this holiday season.
