Jeremy Scott Fall 2014: MVP of NYFW - FashionWindows

jeremy scott F1401February 12th finally came around and that only means one thing – GAME TIME.
So put your game faces on, yes, it’s here – Jeremy Scott’s Fall 2014 collection.

Scott tweeted “does running down the catwalk count as exercise”, leaving us all with a clue to his athletic wear inspired show. Scott’s collection wasn’t just any athletic inspired collection we’ve seen before; the designer took the athletic style literally.

The energy was high as team Jeremy Scott strut their stuff down the runway to the 80’s throwback music. Each look that the came down the runway was sports inspired, from the opening fuzzy football jersey numbered dresses, to the leather basketball inspired pieces and the monster baseball two pieces.

As if our minds weren’t already blown out of the water, the show continued on to amaze the audience even more. As for the literal athletic dressing, Scott went to the length of making tube socks and laced sportswear undergarments look appealing. We all know Jeremy Scott for his out of the box ideas but boy did he hit it out of the park with this collection.

If NYFW had an award for best collection this season, Jeremy Scott definitely took the trophy for Most Valuable Player.
