NEW YORK, Feb 21 2015/ — In an era of selfies, Pierre Costin, Senior Fashion Designer Porsche Design chose to go against the current zeitgeist and opted for being private again by proposing an innovative and luxurious take on utilitarian clothing.
It goes back to, how do you hide a tree? The forest, of course!
Call it the modern uniform – black and grey interspersed with camel, neutral colors that are also current favorites. The women’s silhouettes are explicit and strong, complimented with touches of softness and sensuality. The men’s looks are structured and layered with plays on texture.
Using cutting-edge fabrics and construction techniques, Costin created ultra modern looks which will at home in any modern city be it in New York, London or Tokyo.
The wearer remains an individual yet hidden among the mass of humanity and thus remaining anonymous in a very public world.
