NEW YORK, Sep 7, 2012/ — The New York season has barely begun, yet the use of black & white and the fifty shades of gray in between is already developing as a big trend.
That said, it was very refreshing to see at the Richard Chai Love Spring 2013 show that the designer minimally used B&W and replaced it with the multiple washes of blue from powder to sorbet shades.
A very sportive collection that actually made you think of running at times, thanks to the sports bra-inspired tops, Richard Chai also reworked the trench coat as he proposed inventive silhouettes of this all time favorite.
Interesting to note also are the raincoats that are more of fashion statements than functional. And though it is currently very hot and humid right now, those raincoats are already on my short list of must-haves for Spring 2013.
