LOS ANGELES, Jan 21, 2008 / FW/ — In a star-studded affair, Sergio Rossi, known for its luxury shoes and accessories opened its Melrose Place location last week. It is the company’s second store in the Los Angeles area, with the first one in Beverly Hills that opened in 2002.
As part of the new store concept for Sergio Rossi, the 500-square-meters Melrose Place location reflects the values of the brand: contemporary luxury and refined femininity. More than a simple and elegant environment where you can go shopping, the commercial space creates a relaxed atmosphere of a living room.
“Melrose Place perfectly embodies the spirit of the collections Sergio Rossi is one of the most chic and commercial dynamic of the United States,” commented Didier Bonnin, President and CEO for Sergio Rossi in a statement.
To celebrate the event, Edmundo Castillo, Creative Director of Sergio Rossi’s women’s lines hosted a private dinner last January 16 at the very exclusive Andrée Putman restaurant. With Salma Hayek as guest honor, the glitterati of Hollywood came to toast the Edmundo Castillo and Sergio Rossi’s new store.
Vanessa Williams, Anna Ortiz (both of ‘Ugly Betty’), actresses Debbie Mazar, Mia Maestro and Daya Fernandez also graced the event.
