NEW YORK, Sep 9, 2012/ — Earlier today at the Lincoln Center, designer Tracy Reese unveiled her Spring 2013 collection to a star-studded front row that included Lauren Conrad, Taylor Schilling, Odette Annable, Louise Roe, Shenae Grimes, Holland Roden, Katie Lee and George Kotsiopoulos.
The Spring 2013 collection plays with juxtapositions of organic and technical, soft and structured, sporty and feminine, and tribal and romantic for relaxed, modern sportswear with an emphasis on ease and versatility. A refreshing palette of foliage inspired greens, cool blues, warm ochre, tangerine, and crimson is anchored by black, white, and flaxy neutrals. Prints, beading, and embroideries are “mashed-up” to create a rich visual and textural mix.
Silhouettes are easy, with pants running the gamut from draped salwars and leather baggies to beaded and embellished styles. Dresses are flirty and carefree, while jackets in soft serge, stretch crepe, raw silk, and laminated linen add casual structure
