The Meissen Couture collection for Fall / Winter 2014/15 was presented on February 21st at the famous Meissen Villa in Via Montenapoleone 3, which was turned into a fantasy setting to become a backdrop for the collection.
For Fall 2014, Meissen Couture creative director Frida Weyer was inspired by the vibrancy and exuberance of the 1920s and th3 1930s, when being alive is an inspiration by itself.
Timeless elegance and sensual charm represent a duality that the designer had to reconcile was a challenge that Frida Weyer triumphantly prevailed. The lines are very feminine and soft, but the shoulders, which become a metaphor for the strength of a woman who seduces and controls were the focus.
With lingerie as a main influence, the collection was created using fine lace, the look reminiscent of the sinful boudoir. With daring necklines and exposed backs, the collection is reminiscent of the legendary silver screen divas
